Our brains make vision seem easy. It doesn't take much effort for humans to tell apart her cousin and nephew, detect a face or recognize who it is. Today, we will discuss the history of models used for such problems, what we've achieved so far and demonstrate combinations of state-of-art machine learning algorithms to tackle these problems and beyond.
